StrataVarious Quilts
Based on the book, of the same name, this lecture includes a trunk show as well as instructions that will undoubtably inspire you to begin to design your own strata quilts.

Drunkard's Path 
A trunk show and lecture which includes a little history using antique quilts and inspiration using contemporary designs and techniques. You won't look at curved piecing ever the same.

Open your mind to the possibilities of strata quilts!

Strata quilts add demension, interest and limitless design ideas.

Beginners will feel like an accomplished quilter and experienced sewers can begin to explore design.

Any of our patterns can be taught as an all day workshop.

Edge-coloring Applique

A little glue some thread and your imagination are all you need

to applique beautiful designs. Oh ya, your sewing machine.

After this class you'll be well on yuour way to creativity.

Drunkard’s Path

“Curves are scarey” We never want to hear that again. Drunkard’s Path quilts are among the easiest and quickest quilts to piece. Using modern cutting techniques and only two pins you’ll be done in no time! No pattern necessary, just the purchase of template sets.

Remember
Though this is a project specific class it really is two classes in one. You will learn our strata technique as taught in Strata 101 as well as our edge-coloring applique. Both of which are fun for beginners and experienced quilters. This quilt puts it all together.

This workshop is specific to the quilt Remember. It is the quilt we created for the "Quilted in Honor" program which launched in spring 2013. It is a fund raising initiative for Operation Homefront. Many of the quilt industry leaders have come together to create a program to raise funds for this top ranking military charity. We, along with 18 other designers were asked to create a project using a specially designed fabric line (by Island Batik). As this special group of quilts travels the world they are meant to inspire and shed a light on our hardworking military. Eventually the quilts will be auctioned. The industry partners have created retail products for the project and a percentage of the sales or minimum dollar amount goes directly to Operation Homefront. Great class, greater cause.
